  5. The Sales Order Entry, Invoicing and Sales Analysis module handles many types
  6. of orders, in local or foreign currencies, through a pre-determined cycle of
  7. events from order entry through picking lists, to despatching, to invoicing,
  8. and finally to sales analysis reporting. Credit checking is carried out at
  9. various stages. Orders can be consolidated onto one or many invoices. The
  10. pricing policies are maintained here, and last price paid information is held
  11. for each customer/product combination. Back-to-back order processing with the
  12. purchasing modules is available. Sales quotations can be raised and remain
  13. valid for a predetermined timescale.
